Welcome to the club: how to get the Soho House look at home

If you don’t happen to count yourself among the exclusive ranks of the Soho House member, fret ye not – there is a shortcut to getting the elite and trendy lifestyle of your dreams. The kind folk at this global group of most coveted members-only clubs have compiled a book titled Eat, Drink, Nap to guide you through creating a similar vibe in your own home.

Nick Jones, founder of the Soho House Group, which counts The Electric Notting Hill amongst its outposts, says: ‘Since we started back in 1995, I’ve been amazed and frankly flattered by the number of times our members and hotel guests have asked where we get our ‘stuff’ and how exactly we make their favourite dish or drink.’

Expect tips on how to make guests feel comfortable, how to cook drool-inducing nosh, how to throw a party, get the lighting right, mix a cocktail, design a bedroom… and the list goes on, as reader are even advised on how to build an art collection. Pippa Middleton’s (oh she of such helpful tips such as putting a cake in a tin to keep it fresh) could learn a thing or two from these pros.

Eat, Drink, Nap is published by Random House, £30
