FRIDAY
Great Wines By The Glass
Throw off the worries of the week with a glass (or three?) of wine at Kensington Wine Rooms. Simply top up your card, grab a glass, choose your tipple, press the button and watch the vino flow. Whether you opt for a £3 glass of entry-level wine or Bordeaux at £65 a glass, you’re sure to walk out de-stressed.

V&A Late
This Friday’s Late sees the V&A turn into a living thing. The theme for this month is ‘Synthetic Aesthetics’, and the whole evening is dedicated to examining how synthetic biology crosses the boundary between science and design… Add drinks, food and music and you’re set for the night!

SATURDAY
Shop till you drop
The latest arrivals at Couverture are rather special. We’re loving the pervading blue theme when it comes to the latest men’s pieces; think dark, inky cotton overall jackets, fine, crisp shirts with funky buttons, and denim galore. For the gals, the summer stock is covered in cool, eclectic patterns (we like the cactus-print blouse) and the Etnia Barcelona sunglasses are well worth checking out.

Lunch at Saporitalia on Portobello
Whether you are in the mood for authentic Italian pizza, antipasto or something a little more meaty, the Ferro brothers’ cooking is sure to satisfy. The giant clay oven, the scent of basil, the bright white mozarella balls and rustic interior all contrive to place you directly at the centre of an Italian piazza.
