Shake it up! Pop Up Screens serves up its first speakeasy

Pop Up Screens is all about the classics this month. Nope, we’re not talking Homer and Virgil; the brilliant brains behind these special cinematic events are shaking up classic cocktails to slurp your way along to both silver screen box office hits and cult favourites alike – all in Notting Hill.

The Twentieth Century Theatre hosts from 13 – 15 March, and film fans of a certain vintage (or, indeed, those of a nostalgic persuasion) can get an eyeful of such filmic icons as The Goonies, accompanied by a ‘Baby Ruth Hard Milkshake’ or When Harry Met Sally, swilled down with a Screaming Orgasm (what else?).

Excuse us while we concur with Meg Ryan, aka Sally: ‘Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!’

13 March, 8pm: The Big Lebowski, accompanied by White Russians

14 March, 4.30pm: Anchor Man, accompanied by The Sex Panthers

14 March, 8pm: Cocktail, accompanied by Red Eyes

15 March, 4.30pm: The Goonies, accompanied by A Baby Ruth Hard Milkshake

15 March, 8pm: When Harry Met Sally, accompanied by A Screaming Orgasm
