Marylebone restaurant Carousel is, unequivocally, a revolutionary restaurant – pun intended. The Blandford Street eatery is renowned for keeping things fresh, and its latest guest chef series is no exception. ‘Carousel presents…’ is the newest collaboration cooked up by Carousel’s similarly fresh-faced, 23-year-old resident chef, Ollie Templeton. The young co-founder (did we mention he’s only 23?) and his team are introducing hungry Londoners to the best up ’n’ coming culinary talent, with an impressive roster of guest chefs working alongside the Carousel crew over the first quarter of 2015.
From January through to April, Carousel presents… will welcome chefs specialising in a vast range of cuisines to take over the Marylebone kitchen and create their innovative dishes. Diners can expect a set lunch menu (from £15) or four-five course dinner menu (£35 per person) from chefs such as Tom Ryalls of St. John Bread & Wine, and New York’s Ramen King, Yuji Haraguchi of Yuji Ramen.
Thus far Carousel presents… has already witnessed food writer and Vietnamese Supper Club founder, Uyen Luu serve up her famous fare, while this weekend’s guest spot features Henrik Norén, one half of the brains behind Stockholm cult restaurant, Gro.
So go on; with Carousel presents…’ constantly evolving menus and exciting gastronomic experiences, you’d be crazy not to get on board this bandwagon, or rather, carousel.
Don’t miss out! Make your reservation now for Carousel’s guest chef series.
