Concrete plans have been announced for The Laslett to open in Notting Hill, summer 2015. The Laslett, a unique hotel from the Living Rooms group, is set to span five stunning Victorian mansions on Notting Hill’s Pembridge Gardens. The multifaceted venue is being billed as part-coffee shop, part-bar-kitchen, part-gallery and part-concept store, with the owners anticipating the venue will serve visitors and locals alike. The 51 guest rooms and suites will be designed by architectural and interior designers Waldo Works, who will combine modern furniture with personal quirks, such as well-thumbed books and curios from a local antiques dealer, with photographs and artworks from local artists. It will all be set against a monochrome interior augmented by bold colour, eye-catching textiles and strong textures, while an ever-changing selection of prints, homewares and artisan produce will be on sale, the products of various collaborations with a selection of up-and-coming names. It will be the fourth property from Living Rooms, a luxury hotel alternative with locations in Little Venice, Mayfair and Marylebone.
Opening rates will start from £215 including VAT.
