The Ideal Home Show returns to Olympia after 107 years

The Ideal Home Show has been synonymous with Earl’s Court for decades, but what many don’t know is that Britain’s biggest consumer home event actually started life at the Olympia exhibition centre back in 1908. And since Earl’s Court closed its doors last November, the show is set to return to its original home this spring. Kicking off on 20th March, the exhibit will run for 18 days and, to celebrate the homecoming, will be bigger than before with seven dedicated sections spread over three halls in its new location. Visitors can expect to hear celebrity ambassadors like Gregg Wallace, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Alan Titchmarsh speak, as well as more than 600 brands and exhibitors presenting to the public, cooking demos and full-scale show homes. Another must-see will be the Young Gardeners of the Year competition organised by TV gardener David Domoney, which sees six selected colleges design and build six show gardens with judging taking place on 20th March. And, to make sure visitors don’t go overboard, Moneysavingexpert.com’s Martin Lewis will be in the house to offer tips on how to keep those wallets in check.

Doors open to the Ideal Home Show 2015 from the 20th March – 6th April at Olympia London. To book tickets, either log on to http://www.idealhomeshow.co.uk or call 0844 858 6763.  For group bookings call 0844 412 4650
