At the end of this month, Kensington Palace is set to host a royal shindig to celebrate the 300th anniversary of King George’s ascension to the British throne… and we’re all invited.
The two-day ‘Glorious Georges’ family festival gives revellers get the chance to journey through the palace gardens and transform themselves into royal courtiers with a range family-orientated activities, including games, dressing up and learning some court etiquette.
You will also get the chance to experience the latest Georgian fashions, meet some characters from the royal court, and if you’re lucky, a picnic with King George II himself might be on the cards…
The event is included on a standard entry ticket to the palace and children under sixteen get in free if accompanied by an adult.
