News Just In: Group Of Bears Found In The Royal Parks

If you go down to the park today, you’re sure of a big surprise. Onlookers were taken aback today as not one, but five bears were found across the Royal Parks in London, with visitors being treated for signs of delusion. Reported descriptions of the species were as follows: brown, hailing from Panama, and, well, rather fond of orange marmalade.

Ok, we’re being daft. There are no grizzlies about to wrest away your picnic in Kensington Gardens or Hyde Park, but what you will find are a trail of statues of Paddington Bear, Michael Bond’s much-loved creation, sporting rather dashing outfits, designed variously by the likes of Sir David Beckham, Julie Walters, Hugh Bonneville, Sir Ian Botham and the England Rugby Team, all in the name of charity (they shall be auctioned off later). We entreat any who buy them to ‘please look after this bear.’
