Spring has marked the relaunch of an exciting new spa at Dorsett Shepherds Bush, where traditional Asian health principles will be combined with modern Western technology. The Adeela Crown Aesthetic Spa At Pavilion will be located on the top floor of the hotel — which launched late last year — and features four treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, infra-red sauna and relaxation lounge, with a spa menu conceptualised and led by the renowned therapist Adeela Crown. Flooded with natural light from the eighth floor glass roof, the relaxation area is an unexpected sanctuary with simple and timeless interiors of muted greys and whites, accented with mirrors. Crown and her team have made it their mission to reboot the mind, body and soul in the middle of west London’s din with a tailor-made menu of both restorative treatments and indulgent therapies, as well as technology-led grooming, such as laser hair removal. The Crown Spa Tea for Two (60 minutes, £79 per person) — a personalised massage or bespoke facial with an English afternoon tea in the hotel’s Jin Bar and one hour’s use of the relaxation lounge, sauna and steam room — is quite possibly a combination of all of our favourite things in the world.
